An AI employee that can use your PC.

DigiKarmi is a desktop workspace for AI employees. With owner permission, an employee can use a Windows PC to research websites, work with files and operate software that has no API.

What can the assistant do?

• Browse websites, research information and capture screenshots.
• Use screen observations, mouse clicks, keyboard input and scrolling to work with desktop applications.
• Read and edit project files and run commands needed for an authorised task.
• Install packages or dependencies within the computer user’s available permissions.

PC access starts off. Owners enable it and choose the responsibilities of each employee. Operating-system security prompts and administrator approvals still apply; the assistant cannot silently bypass a locked desktop or Windows UAC.

Billing software without an API

Desktop control can provide a way to operate an installed billing application even when it has no API. Whether a particular task is dependable depends on the application’s screens, permissions and workflow. We first test sample transactions, check outputs and agree on where a person must review or approve the work.

A generic desktop-control capability is not a promise of unattended billing accuracy. Keep a review step for changes to stock, invoices, customer records or accounts until the actual workflow has been validated.

Bring an existing website or project

Select the folder where the code already lives. DigiKarmi performs a bounded scan of eligible text files, then asks about the project’s purpose, deployment, access and responsibilities. Common secret files and generated folders are excluded, but detection is not exhaustive. Review the selected file list before starting the AI review.

Confirm the summary and assign it to the appropriate employees. Known facts, supporting files and unresolved questions remain visible in readable Markdown. A source change may require another review. Connecting a folder does not itself authorise a live deployment.

Where should I install it?

We recommend a spare, always-on Windows PC as your dedicated work computer. Your personal PC is also supported; coordinate desktop tasks with your own use. Keep DigiKarmi open and online. Mouse and keyboard work needs an interactive, signed-in, unlocked desktop. Read the full PC setup guide.

How do I get started?

Contact the DigiKarmi team to discuss the task and your existing software. After a completed sale, your account receives a licence for the agreed computers and employees. Generate the activation key, download the installer and connect your own Claude account through the original sign-in flow. Windows x64 and Apple silicon Mac pilot installers are available after activation.
