DIGIKARMI · PRODUCT INFORMATION
Your computer.
Your boundaries.
An AI employee needs access to be useful. DigiKarmi makes that access an owner decision: who can give instructions, which tasks can use the PC, and what needs a review.
Start with a small, clear job
PC access starts off. Enable the access needed for the task and set approval rules before relying on an employee. Ordinary customer messages cannot grant computer permissions. Pause an employee, disconnect a project or revoke PC access when the job changes.
Desktop tasks can use the screen, mouse and keyboard. A dedicated work computer avoids competing with your own activity. A personal PC is also supported; coordinate its use.
Where does information go?
- On your PC
- The DigiKarmi workspace, job context and connected project files. Saved credentials use the computer’s protected credential storage.
- Your AI provider
- Relevant messages, selected files, screenshots and task results needed to perform the job. That provider’s terms and data practices apply.
- Messages and linked-device activity use WhatsApp’s service. The current integration is experimental and can be affected by platform changes.
- DigiKarmi account service
- Account, licence and service records, including activation and installation-integrity checks. See the privacy policy for details.
Installing locally does not mean all AI processing is offline. Review the information you connect and choose an appropriate AI account for the work. Read the full privacy and data overview.
What the setup tests establish
Readiness checks test screen capture, measured cursor movement, clicking, typing, scrolling, temporary file access, commands and closing to the background. The browser stage opens a separate profile at a DigiKarmi test page and verifies a sample search and checklist.
A passed check applies to that test. It does not establish that every website login or billing workflow will work. Startup registration is a setting check; actual startup after a reboot must be checked separately. Explore the browser practice page.
What still needs a person?
- Logins, account authorization and prompts that require the account owner.
- Windows UAC, elevated applications and other operating-system restrictions.
- Review of unfamiliar or high-impact workflows, including real invoices, stock and account changes.
- Decisions when information is missing, a screen changes or a task fails.
The computer must stay online with DigiKarmi running. Interactive work needs a signed-in, unlocked desktop. Sleep, shutdown, sign-out and some network interruptions can stop work.
Installation integrity and updates
DigiKarmi checks installation integrity and validates its update information. Confirmed authenticated installation mismatches can suspend the licence under the agreed terms. Contact the team for review rather than editing application files. A failed or unavailable check is not proof of tampering.
The current Windows pilot installer is not publisher-signed and the Mac pilot is not notarized. Operating-system warnings may still appear. These limitations are distinct from DigiKarmi’s own integrity checks. Check current release notes.
Ask before connecting sensitive work
Tell the team which systems and information the task involves. Agree the scope, access, test records and review points before giving an employee responsibility. For support, email sales@digikarmi.ai.
